ABC gives a rundown of what happened in the previous seasons that will lead toward 'the end'.

The first official promo of "Lost" season six has been shared by ABC but unfortunately it does not contain new footage. It gives a flashback to the very first episode when the Oceanic crashed and several others from the following seasons, giving the emphasize that this season will be "the beginning of the end".

Coming in early 2010, the new season of "Lost" will serve as the closing to the entire show. A little recap from the fifth season finale, Juliet got sucked into the drill shaft where they planned to blow the whole things up. Upon being conscious, Juliet saw that the nuclear bomb went unexploded. In a desperate attempt to save everybody, Juliet picked up a rock and started hitting the bomb. A white flash marked the cliffhanger to be answered in the sixth season.

It looks like the bomb does go off, since Elizabeth Mitchell who plays Juliet just spilled that her character has been killed. She told EW that she cried for a couple of days upon hearing the news. "Evangeline [Lilly] and my sister came over, and we drank until we fell asleep on the couch, which was not good, because none of us are big drinkers," she recalled. "We woke up and said, 'Let's do ice cream next time, okay?'"

On another "Lost" news, Jon Cassar aka the producer of "24" has confirmed through his Twitter that he will be directing an episode of the sci-fi series. Unlike the circulating rumors, Cassar will start working in the new year instead of next month.
