The smoke has been cleared, "Project Runway" will finally see the light this summer, on Lifetime. The network have apparently won the long-winding legal battle with Bravo TV in regard to the rights in broadcasting the fashion competition show.

"The Weinstein Company will pay NBCU for the right to move Project Runway to Lifetime. All of the parties are pleased with the outcome," the networks said in a joint statement. No particular air date has been thrown for the sixth season yet. Words on the block are, there will be guest appearances by Rebecca Romijn, Christina Aguilera and Eva Longoria.

"All of us at Lifetime are thrilled to move forward with Heidi, Tim, Nina, Michael, The Weinstein Company and the entire Project Runway team," network president and CEO Andrea Wong said in a statement.

One person also glad of the resolved matter is "Project Runway" producer Harvey Weinstein who said, "I want to personally congratulate Jeff Zucker and NBCU on their success in the litigation and thank Jeff for resolving this in a professional manner."

The sixth season had taped its finale on February 20 during the New York Fashion Week but the winner whose design was judged based on the performance that week, was kept hidden. "I'm a little bit sad for our designers that they don't get that recognition today. We're all in a bit of a limbo," host Heidi Klum said at that time.

Bravo TV that had aired the first five seasons of the show, in the mean time, will replace it with "The Fashion Show" that will be hosted by Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland. It will premiere on May 7.
