Used to have a crush on Nick Jonas, Emma Roberts says she no longer admires him and his famous brothers Joe and Kevin Jonas because of their tendency to date fellow young stars.

Unlike any other girls at her age who idolize pop singing sensations Jonas Brothers, Emma Roberts on the other hand tends to brand the trio as "a little tainted". On the reason why, she points out to their much publicized love relationships with fellow Hollywood stars; Nick Jonas dating Selena Gomez, and Joe Jonas' romance with Taylor Swift and Camilla Belle.
That's why, though she admits to be "looking to musicians now," Emma says she won't date either Nick, Joe, or Kevin Jonas. To the April issue of Teen Vogue, she reveals, "I used to have a crush on Nick, but he's kind of making his rounds in Hollywood, and I don't know if I like that."
Starring in a number of films, Emma is cautious about dating her co-stars. "It's great when you're shooting," she explains. "But when it's a year later and you have to do press and you're no longer speaking, that can be a bit awkward."
Love life aside, Emma Roberts is hard at work on her acting career in a bid to break out of her famous aunt Julia Roberts' shadow by scoring herself starring roles in two independent films, "Lymelife" and "The Winning Season," both of which appeared at this year's Sundance Film Festival.
"Some people look at me and think, 'She's just Julia Roberts' niece,' so I wanted to do something smaller and edgier, something that would show I really am an actress," the 18-year-old actress tells Teen Vogue. "I'm not in competition with her. She's one of the biggest movie stars in the world! I'm just doing what I love to do and having fun with it."
