Hot on the heels of the on-going investigation that the authorities have been conducting against Chris Brown for his alleged attack on Rihanna, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office reportedly request that the R 'n' B singer to be investigated for attempted murder. Bringing the report to the surface is a source close to the investigation, E! News claims.
Investigation on the felony is conducted based on the allegations that Rihanna provided to the authorities earlier this month, during when she testified Chris threatened to kill her during a heated argument on February 8 which then led to him attacking her. She claimed at that time that Chris put his hands around her neck and choked her, causing her to lose her consciousness.
Nevertheless, the source reveals to E! News that "prosecutors fear that making any serious felony charges stick could prove difficult in a case where there are no direct witnesses other than Rihanna and Brown." Still, there hasn't any single word uttered by Chris or his people regarding the report.
The attempted murder is an addition to the several other felonies addressed to Chris Brown. The variety of felonies the music star is facing include domestic violence and assault resulting in great bodily injury.
