More details on Ciara's third effort has been released. Although the title is not yet revealed, Billboard.com reported that the album is under work with release date slated to be either August or early September. The new album will be the follow up to her 2006 release "Ciara: The Evolution".

The Grammy-award winning singer reportedly is hard at work, squeezing time for studio sessions for this album. Among those backing her up are T-Pain, Polow Da Don, The Clutch and Timbaland's protege, DanjaHandz.

Ciara had also held a national audition in February to seek dancers that will accompany her in promotion of the third album. Anticipation for the audition was running high that she added a couple more dates in March for more dancers.

On other news, Ciara is also filming "Mama, I Want to Sing!" as the lead role, co-starring it with Patti LaBelle. The FoxFaith production is slated to hit theaters later this year.
