Going against media claims, the marriage of Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Taylor is more than okay. The couple have on Saturday, January 12 renewed their wedding vows to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.

Snoop arranged a romantic ceremony attended by 200 guests to renew their nuptials at a friend's ranch just outside of Los Angeles. Shante who found the event as a total and complete surprise reportedly was simply told that she and Snoop would be going to a formal anniversary party.

Dressed in a black tuxedo, Snoop surprisingly began talking about Shante, making a touching speech about the difficulties of being a married couple in the entertainment industry, and how much he appreciated her. Soon after his speech, Snoop then announced that it was indeed a wedding.

To mark the occasion, Snoop presented Shante with a diamond band ring. The pair then held hands and lit a unity candle, with Snoop looking teary-eyed. Following the ceremony, Snoop and Shante dined on a buffet spread with guests with the rap star even visited every table, thanking the people for attending.

The January 12 event will reportedly be recorded for "Snoop Dogg's Father Hood" reality show, which Snoop and Shante star in. It is not yet clear in which episode the ceremony will be featured though.

Snoop and Shante exchanged vows in 1997. He then filed for divorce in 2004, cited irreconcilable differences and sought custody of their children, Corde, Cordell, and Cori. They, however, got back on track with in the last couple of years.
