In other acting categories, Manhattan-born thespian Viggo Mortensen landed the Best Actor title for his role in "Eastern Promises" while Judi Dench was deemed the Best Actress for hers in "Notes on a Scandal." The latter flick, released in the U.K. on February 2, 2007, also won writer Patrick Marber the Best Screenplay trophy.
