Rap definitely has nothing to do with race car. But, the two have attracted the interest of Kanye West to involve himself in. The six-time Grammy award winning producer/rapper has signed a deal to sponsor a race car in the Formula BMW World Finals being held this November in Valencia, Spain. TAOW Productions brought the news to the surface Monday Nov 20th.

The second annual event, which takes place Nov. 24 through 26 in Valencia, Spain, is a competition involving 38 of the best drivers from 18 countries in the world's regional Formula BMW series.

West's car will feature his bear mascot from the covers of his "The College Dropout" and "Late Registration" albums along with the logo of two of the rapper/producer's favorite charities, the Kanye West Foundation and the United Nations World Food Program.

"Creating opportunities for people to dream and achieve is part of the core focus of the Kanye West Foundation," said West. "The Kanye West Foundation is glad to partner with Philip Major for such a global event. We view our participation as a race to help humanity and hope to raise awareness about my Foundation and the United Nations World Food Program."

In addition to the rapper, former NFL quarterback and host of FOX Sports Network's "The Best Damn Sports Show Period," Rodney Peete, will also be sponsoring a Formula BMW race car in the competition in an effort to support the United Nations World Food Program.
