Synopsis

The film centers around a charismatic cult leader (Thomas Jane) who, back in the 1980's led his followers to the largest mass suicide in United States history. Only one little girl survived and we discover her 25 years later (Lily Rabe) as she journeys back to the Heaven's Veil Compound with a director (Jessica Alba) and her rag-tag documentary crew (Reid Scott, Shannon Woodward et al) in an attempt to find answers as to what really happened that fateful day. Supernatural mysteries are revealed, and lives are changed forever as we discover that things truly are not what they appear to be at The Veil...
