When a perfectly ordinary evening takes a macabre turn, Phillip Daniels finds himself in an unimaginable predicament: there is a dead body in his apartment. This sharp-witted comedy, directed by Elaine Mroz-Bunnell, follows the increasingly frantic Parker Strickland as Phillip, an average guy whose immediate concern isn't calling the police, but rather how this inconvenient corpse will ruin his meticulously planned night. He quickly enlists the help of his bewildered and morally conflicted friends, played by Jackson Greathouse and Simon Atkinson, turning a potential crime scene into a chaotic and hilarious problem-solving session. As the minutes tick by, the group’s panicked attempts to handle the situation spiral into a series of absurd misadventures and comedic misunderstandings, testing their loyalty and their wits. Written by and co-starring Joshua Garcia, with Aidan Alich rounding out the cast, this brisk nine-minute farce masterfully blends dark humor with relatable panic, creating a uproarious story about the lengths to which friends will go to salvage a disastrous situation. The tone is a delightful mix of claustrophobic chaos and witty dialogue, promising viewers a clever and compact comedy about the worst possible houseguest.
