Tom Holland Helps Zendaya Navigate Through 'Stress' of 'Challengers' Release

The two-time Emmy winner is reportedly 'worrying about how ['Challengers'] would perform' as she 'did insane prep for it,' but her boyfriend Tom has been supporting her privately and in public.

AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman has apparently done a great job hiding her anxiety during "Challengers" press tour. The actress oozed elegance and confidence at promotional events for the movie, but she's reportedly worried as the film hit theaters.

Thankfully, Tom Holland was there for Zendaya to navigate through the stress that came with the release of the sexy, R-rated drama. A source close to the 27-year-old actress tells PEOPLE, "Her family's been super supportive throughout all of it, and Tom of course. They're very, very cute together."

The source says the "Euphoria" star "was a little stressed" about her latest film being released and "worrying about how it would perform." The informant explains, "Getting this role was a really big deal to her. She did insane prep for it and has been so involved with every aspect of the film and promotion."

Tom reportedly has been supporting Zendaya privately and in public. The British actor, who rarely talks about his personal life, recently took to his Instagram page to promote his girlfriend's latest movie.

On Saturday, April 27, the Spider-Man depicter in MCU posted a "Challengers" poster featuring a close-up shot of the Emmy-winning actress and wrote along with it, "I know what I'm doing this weekend!" The poster features Zendaya's character Tashi wearing purple sunglasses, with Mike Faist's Art Donaldson and Josh O'Connor's Patrick Zweig reflected in the lenses playing tennis.

Zendaya commented on the post with an excited face emoji.

Tom also plugged the Luca Guadagnino-directed romantic sports drama in his Instagram Stories over the weekend. "CHALLENGERS IS OUT NOW!" he wrote over a trailer of the movie. "LETS GOOOO!" he added, tagging Zendaya in the Story.

Previously, Zendaya expressed her nerves ahead of the movie's release in an Instagram post. "This is my first time leading a film in this way so ya girls been nervous but everyones excitement and encouragement has meant the world to me," she wrote earlier this month. "I'm so honored that I get to do this beside these incredibly talented, brilliant and hilarious people and on behalf of all of us, we hope you enjoy the film and again... try not to judge the characters too much lol but also #teamtashi."
