AceShowbiz - Chance the Rapper has returned with a new single titled "Buried Alive". Dropped on Thursday, April 25, the song was accompanied by its official music video that explores themes of self-discovery and new-found freedom.

In the footage, Chance is seen trapped inside a box, recreating the iconic scene from "Kill Bill: Volume 2". After he breaks free from his confines, the artist embarks on a journey of self-actualization and defiance.

"The boy who lived got tied up for marryin'/ Tryna ride off into the sunset with nary goodbye/ Shot him off his high horse, ate his American pie," Chance raps on the tune. "Called out his arrogant lies, tossed him in a hole / The middle of nowhere you never could find."

"Where's his money now? Whеre his wife at?/ Wherе his manager? Where his hype at?" he continues, referring to his divorce. "Then they threw the dirt in the casket and into the hunt for the baby in the basket."

Chance and wife Kirsten Corley announced their split earlier this month. "After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways," the former couple said in a statement. "We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together."

The pair met at the tender age of nine and began dating in 2013. They welcomed their first child, Kensli, in 2015, and their second, Marli, in 2019, the same year they exchanged vows in Newport Beach, California.
