AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa has surprised her fans with an "unforgettable" live performance. A few days after releasing her new album "Radical Optimism", the "Dance the Night" songstress delivered some songs from the latest record in front of around 100,000 fans at Times Square.

On Sunday night, May 5, the 28-year-old British singer/songwriter offered her devotees a free concert at the iconic spot in New York City. She was able to make around 100,000 people show up at the venue to watch her perform.

For the surprise show, Dua belted out a number of songs from "Radical Optimism". She kicked off the fun night with a performance of "Training Season", which she launched on February 15. Stepping in a truck, she shouted, "New York! Alright let's go," prompting the packed audience to cheer.

Dua, who recently performed songs from the set on "Saturday Night Live", was joined by several band members and backup vocals. While standing in the middle, she sang, "Are you someone that I can give my heart to?/ Or just the poison that I'm drawn to?/ It can be hard to tell the difference late at night/ Play fair, is that a compass in your nature?/ Or are you tricky?/ 'Cause I've been there/ And baby, I don't need to learn my lesson twice."

The "New Rules" hitmaker, who sported a black dress and matching coat, went on to sing "Houdini". She then voiced her appreciation for those who watched her surprise performance. She also thanked her fans for showing love to the album.

Dua further delivered "Happy for You". She rhymed, "Late on a Tuesday, I saw your picture/ You were so happy, I could just tell/ She's really pretty, I think she's a model/ Baby, together, you look hot as hell." She continued, "And I didn't even want to cry (Oh, what is this feeling?)/ Couldn't believe it, had to ask myself why."

The surprise performance, which was deemed "unforgettable" by one of Dua's fans on social media, came a few days after she dropped "Radical Optimism". Her third studio album, which was launched on Friday, May 3, featured 11 songs, including "Training Season", "Houdini", "Happy for You", "Illusion", "End of an Era" and "Falling Forever".
