The 'Can't Get Enough' singer is telling her life from her own perspective in the epic musical film titled 'This Is Me...Now: A Love Story', which also stars her husband Ben Affleck.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez is telling her life from her own perspective. While many other celebrities released biographies, the singer/actress has decided to share her story via a movie which stars the 54-year-old as herself.

Titled "This Is Me...Now: A Love Story", is a narrative film that delves deep into her personal life. In the first trailer released on Wednesday, January 17, it's noted that the film is from the "heart, soul and dreams" of Lopez.

The trailer gives a look at a dramatic take on the multi-hyphenate's life and how she tries to break the stigma about being a hopeless romantic. "I know what they say about me. About hopeless romantics. That we're weak. But I'm not weak," she says in the beginning of the trailer. "I've learned the hard way. Not all love stories have a happy ending."

In the trailer, the "On the Floor" hitmaker is seen in a session with her therapist, being told by friends that she's a sex addict, recalling her childhood, in a recovery meeting and dancing on a street. There's also a glimpse of a scene featuring her wearing what looks like an astronaut suit. "You feel like nobody gets you," one man tells her. "I don't even get me," she replies.

She's also going through several breakups with different men. In one scene, she's seen having an argument with one of her exes, "It's never enough for you," he claims. "And the constant criticism. She thinks I'm her employee."

Another woman is heard making an accusation against J.Lo's ex, "He's a liar," which he denies as saying, "I've never lied to you." Derek Hough also appears as one of her exes, whom she dumps as she explains, "Being with you feels like home. But I left home for a reason."

According to the official logline, " 'This Is Me…Now: A Love Story' is like nothing you've ever seen from Jennifer Lopez. Alongside director Dave Meyers, Jennifer has created a narrative-driven cinematic odyssey, steeped in mythological storytelling and personal healing. Dropping in tandem with her first studio album in a decade, this genre-bending Amazon original showcases her journey to love through her own eyes. With fantastical costumes, breathtaking choreography, and star-studded cameos, this panorama is an introspective retrospective of Jennifer's resilient heart."

The film also stars Trevor Noah, Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofia Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Lopez's husband Ben Affleck. It will arrive on Prime Video on February 16, the same day her new album "This Is Me... Now" is released.
