Although it was previously said that the 'Fortnight' singer and her boyfriend had turned down invites to the annual fashion event, a new report claims that the Grammy winner will be attending the lavish event.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift is not skipping the 2024 Met Gala despite previous report stating otherwise. A so-called insider says that the country-turned-pop superstar will be attending Anna Wintour-hosted fashion event, possibly without her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Previous report by TMZ claimed that both the 14-time Grammy winner and the three-time Super Bowl champion received invitations to the lavish event, but they declined their spots. However, now another source tells Page Six that the "Karma" songstress will attend the event known as the Oscars of fashion.

The 34-year-old singer/songwriter is expected to walk the red carpet on fashion's biggest night, which will take place on Monday, May 6. However, there is no word if her boyfriend Travis will accompany her to the fashion gala.

Taylor, who recently dropped her eleventh studio album "The Tortured Poets Department", isn't going to resume her global "Eras Tour" until May 9 in Paris, France. She first attended the Met Gala in 2008 and her last appearance at the annual event was in 2018.

Other stars who have confirmed their appearances at the upcoming Met Gala are Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Gisele Bundchen, Olivia Rodrigo, Uma Thurman, Sarah Paulson, Met Gala regular Cara Delevingne as well as Barry Keoghan. Newcomers who've received invites to the party reportedly include "Killers of the Flower Moon" star Lily Gladstone and "The Bear" actress Ayo Edebiri.

This year's event is co-chaired by Zendaya Coleman, Chris Hemsworth, Bad Bunny and Jennifer Lopez. Zendaya, who will once again team up with stylist Law Roach for her look at fashion's biggest night, teased that her look will be "very special."

"Law and I, obviously we've been working together for many years and we've been doing themed dressing since '[The Greatest Showman]," she told E! earlier this month. "It's so nice to be able to experiment with fashion."
