In a new vlog, the YouTube star talks about his experience as a new father while sharing footage of the 'Angel' singer's baby bump and explaining why they waited to share the news.

AceShowbiz - DDG has spoken up about his life as a father after welcoming his first child with Halle Bailey. One day after confirming the birth of their son named Halo, the YouTuber uploaded a new video on his channel in which he talked about his experience as a dad so far.

The 26-year-old and his girlfriend had been tight-lipped about the pregnancy despite rumbling speculation on the Internet. In the vlog, he explained why they waited to announced the news. "We was just waiting on the right time to basically break the news," he said.

DDG, who has fallen head over heels for the little bundle of joy, called it "a blessing" as he declared, "We love him so much." He went on gushing about Halle as a mother, saying, "I want to choose no other person in the world to have a child with. She's a great mom. She's amazing."

The rapper also claimed that fatherhood has been "a great experience" so far. He shared, "It's been very, very fun." Sharing footage of Halle's baby bump and him at the hospital while the baby was born, he confessed, "I watched the whole thing. I was honestly scared." Having witnessed how the baby was born, he said it was "crazy" and added, "I have newfound respect for women."

DDG went on bragging that he's already "a professional" in changing his son's diaper and although the little one already peed on him three times, he's not mad. Seemingly enjoying fatherhood, he gushed, "It's like a video game at this point."

Later in the video, DDG said he and Halle have no plans to show their son's face to the world. "This is too priceless," he said, before teasing how their baby looks like, "He's a beautiful baby and healthy baby."

Halle and DDG confirmed their first child's arrival by sharing on Saturday a glimpse of the baby. In the image, "The Little Mermaid (2023)" star's hand was holding her baby boy's tiny hand. The infant could be seen wearing a gold bracelet etched with the name "Halo."

In the caption, Halle wrote, "even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son." She added, "welcome to the world my halo. the world is desperate to know you."
