The 'Little Mermaid' actress finally confirms rumors about her having welcomed her first child with DDG more than a week after they accidentally leaked a baby's cry.

AceShowbiz - Halle Bailey has finally confirmed rumors that she has welcomed her first child with DDG. When introducing the couple's new bundle of joy, "The Little Mermaid (2023)" star gave fans a first glimpse at their newborn son.
Making use of Instagram on Saturday, January 6, the 23-year-old unleashed a picture of her manicured hand holding her baby boy's tiny hand. The infant could be seen wearing a gold bracelet etched with the name "Halo."
In the caption, Halle wrote, "even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son." She added, "welcome to the world my halo. the world is desperate to know you."
The post has since been flooded with congratulatory comments from many. One in particular was Rachel Zegler, who gushed, "welcome baby halo!!!!! and congratulations beautiful mama." Porsha Williams penned, "awe Congratulations. Welcome to a whole new world momma !! Blessings baby Halo." Yvette Nicole Brown chimed in, "Aww! Welcome to the world, Halo! And congrats, baby girl!"
People have been speculating that Halle might have given birth to their child around Christmas. The speculation arose after she appeared to no longer sport a baby bump in a previous video which showed her making Christmas cookies with DDG.
Social media users have also been guessing the baby's name with some pointing out an old video in which DDG revealed that he would name his future child Halo. "Is the baby name Halo," one TikTok user asked.
Halle announced the baby's arrival more than a week after she and her rapper beau accidentally leaked evidence that they are now parents. In December, the pair released a Christmas vlog where they and their loved ones gathered around in their living room to open their Christmas presents. As everyone was busy with their own stuff, a mystery baby was heard crying, prompting someone to nervously yell, "Cut, cut, cut!" to the videographer.
