Taking to 'The View', the Emmy Award winner responds to a bunch of 'harmful' rumors recently posted about her, including claims that she's on Jeffrey Epstein list.

AceShowbiz - Whoopi Goldberg has broken her silence on reports that she's feuding with Oprah Winfrey. The actress/comedian slammed the "insane" rumors about her alleged beef with her former "The Color Purple" co-star when addressing a bunch of "harmful" stuff posted about her recently.

The 68-year-old took to "The View" to address the swirling rumors, including claims that she's on the list of Jeffrey Epstein's associates. "Let me bring that up, the conspiracy theory folks," she said in the Thursday, January 4 episode of the show. "I have to explain, because there was a fake list and I'm on it." Debunking reports that she had visited the late convicted sex offender's island, she claimed, "I don't know, they said I was on the island, and I'm like, 'I don't go anywhere!' "

The "Sister Act" star acknowledged "there's been a lot of stuff recently" posted online about her. "I don't know what I've done to anybody," she insisted, "but apparently there are a lot of these kind of sites that are satire sites, but people don't realize that they can be harmful."

She then set the record straight on some random rumors about her, including claims that she was beefing with Winfrey on the set of "The View". "So let me just get my part out," Goldberg continued. "I've never been kicked out of Gordon Ramsay's restaurant. I've never been kicked out of Guy Fieri's restaurant. I didn't get kicked off Bill Maher's show. I didn't get into a fight with Oprah backstage here at 'The View'. It's insane, it goes on and on and on."

The EGOT winner said websites "get away with posting all kinds of garbage and they call it satire. But I'm saying this now: As we're talking about this, people who post these things should be very careful, because once someone is cleared of your insanity, they're gonna call their lawyer on you."

"Don't believe unless I tell you about me," she added. "You'll know if I am doing something. I'll let you know! I have nothing to hide. I don't care what people think. If I like doing it, I'm gonna let you know."

The Mark Train Prize honoree once again stressed, "But if they told you Oprah was backstage and you didn't see Oprah on the show ... It's so insane! And you know I don't go anywhere! Unless I tell you I went somewhere." She then concluded, "OK? Are we good?"

Goldberg and Winfrey's feud rumors surfaced after the former missed out "The Color Purple (2023)" premieres despite being part of the original movie. Meanwhile, Winfrey, who served as producer for the new film, did not come to "The View" to promote the film, while the cast and director Blitz Bazawule appeared in a December episode of the show.

Goldberg, however, had a surprise cameo role in the film. Explaining her lack of presence at the film's premieres, Bazawule shared about his conversation with the actress, "We had talked about it in her trailer a little bit, and she said, 'I'm just here to pass the baton.' "
