In the Tuesday, July 4 post, Julia shared a rare photo of her passionately locking lips with her 54-year-old husband. The 55-year-old star simply captioned the picture, "[firework emoji] 21 [firework emoji]." She also added hashtags #truelove, #fromhereonout and #heckyeah.
The Oscar-winning actress opted to limit comments on her anniversary post, though some close friends and colleagues were still able to show their support in the comments section. Rita Wilson commented, "Scorpio sister! Happy Anniversary to you love birds !! We love you both!"
Genevieve Herr, frequent makeup artist for some of Julia's most jaw-dropping red carpet looks, wrote, "Happy anniversary." High Brow Hippie, a lifestyle brand that colored the actress' hair that iconic shade of amber, also showed love, writing, "Happy anniversary to my favourites !!"
Julia's post came as a surprise as she's known to be private when it comes to her personal life. However, this wasn't the first time for her to share a PDA-filled picture as she posted a photo of the pair kissing under a bag of In-N-Out after the Golden Globes in 2019.
Julia and Danny first met on the set of "The Mexican" in the early spring of 2000. While Julia starred alongside Brad Pitt in the movie, Danny worked as a cameraman.
The couple tied the knot in a secret wedding two years after their meeting with the guests thinking they were merely invited to "celebrate independence day." The pair share three children, twins Phinneas and Hazel, 18, and son Henry, 16, together.
