In a premiere episode of their joint podcast, the 'Real Housewives of Miami' star also reveals that she tried to hide her boyfriend by saving his phone number under a fake name early in their relationship.

AceShowbiz - Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan have come clean about how it all started. Joining forces to launch their own podcast, "Separation Anxiety With Hosts Larsa Pippen & Marcus Jordan", the couple opened up about the start of their relationship and how their closed ones reacted to it.
In the premiere episode which streamed on Tuesday, June 13, Marcus admitted their relationship came as a surprise to his family, including father Michael Jordan. "I don't think there was ever any hurdles, I just think there was some shock value to the fact that we were dating. Caught maybe some people on my side of the family off guard a little bit," he said.
But they eventually accepted it as the 32-year-old explained, "I think once people really got to understand and see us together, it made everything a little more comfortable. My parents want to see me happy. Your family wants to see you happy. That's all you could ever ask for."
"It caught me off guard! I get it. I understand," Larsa chimed in.
The reality TV star herself revealed her attempt to keep people from finding out about their budding romance. After meeting at a party four years ago, the 48-year-old said that she saved his phone number under a different name, Marc Jacobs, early in their relationship.
"I didn't want anyone to know when you'd call me," she admitted. She added that it took some time for her to consider if her connection with Marcus was worth the "smoke" she'd get given her history with Scottie Pippen, who is the former Chicago Bulls teammate of Marcus' dad Michael.
"I figured this was off limits. It was not something I wanted to go to war for," the OG of "The Real Housewives of Miami" shared. "I feel like you have to pick and choose your battles, and I wasn't sure..."
Larsa eventually confirmed her relationship with Marcus in January by sharing a picture of the two posing in front of a Michael 23 jersey. "Checks over stripes," she wrote in the caption, referencing Michael's longtime sponsor Nike and "stripes" a.k.a. Nike's competitor Adidas.
