AceShowbiz - Jimmy Fallon returned to "Saturday Night Live" as a host on April 15. Teaming up with Alec Baldwin, the "SNL" alum mocked Donald Trump's presidency in the cold open. Baldwin's Trump had to choose between his two top advisers Jared Kushner, played by Fallon, and Steve Bannon, who had been at each other's throats.
A former reality TV star, the president made the decision like he's going to eliminate a contestant on "America's Next Top Model". The person who got to stay as his adviser and win "$100,000 courtesy of L'Oreal" was his son-in-law Kushner, whom he called "cute little twink."
In another sketch, Melissa McCarthy returned as Sean Spicer who delivered an Easter message in a rabbit costume. McCarthy's Spicer attempted to apologize for his insensitive Holocaust comments. "Fool me once, shame on me; fool me twice, shame on Jews," he said, as he repeatedly mentioned Hitler.
He ended his message by saying, "Everybody just eat as much candy as you want, because it's probably our last Easter on Earth," before crashing his egg-shaped cart into the podium.
Fallon also appeared in a sketch which mocked both United Airlines and Pepsi ad. Beck Bennett and Cecily Strong played a couple whose date got interrupted by her ex, Fallon. He tried to win her back by singing Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply", but she rejected him, saying, "No, Doug! You dragged a man off a plane this week," implying that he's involved in United's controversial removal of a passenger off a plane.
Turning to her new beau, Strong asked Bennett to tell her more about himself. "Well, I just directed this huge Pepsi commercial...," he responded.
Fallon delivered his best impression of John Travolta when appearing on "Celebrity Family Feud: Time Travel Edition" with Harry Styles as Mick Jagger. Fallon scrambled as he pulled double duty, playing innocent 1977 John Travolta and his older version post-"The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story".
Harry Styles was musical guest in the episode, singing his debut solo single "Sign of the Times" and a new track titled "Ever Since New York".
