Michael opens up to Chelsea Handler about his feelings since leaving 'Live! with Kelly and Michael' last month.

AceShowbiz - Michael Strahan doesn't miss his days on "Live! with Kelly and Michael". In an interview with Chelsea Handler on "Chelsea", airing on Friday, June 24 on Netflix, Michael opens up about his feelings since leaving the show for an expanded role on "Good Morning America".
"No, I don't," Michael replies when Chelsea asks him if he misses his old show, "It surprised me. I thought I would, and I really haven't had a chance to watch it. But I think I've been working so hard for the last seven or eight years since I retired from football, that it's been a relief."
"I really haven't missed it," he adds, "But I loved it. Don't get me wrong. I loved it. When you get a break, sometimes you kind of go, 'Wow, I kind of needed it.' I needed a break."
Following Michael's departure from "Live!" in May, Kelly Ripa has appeared alongside guest co-hosts, including Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.
Michael is slated to start his "GMA" gig in September. He's also set to host an ABC revival of "The $100,000 Pyramid".
