AceShowbiz - Isabella Strahan, the 19-year-old daughter of Michael Strahan, is preparing for her second round of chemotherapy for a brain tumor. In a new vlog on her YouTube series, Isabella documented her arrival at Duke Children's Hospital & Health Center in Durham, North Carolina, where she reunites with her twin sister Sophia, who is a freshman at Duke University.

"Just got to Duke because I have chemo on Monday, but we made it," Isabella says in the video. "Sophia just came to greet us."

Isabella and Sophia spend time around campus, watching a basketball game and getting their nails done. However, the vlog also shows Isabella in a hospital bed preparing for her second round of chemotherapy.

"It's number two chemo... that means four to go!" she says. "That means that after this is over then there's just four more months."

Isabella's second round of chemo was initially postponed due to the need for a second craniotomy. During the procedure, doctors cleaned and drained fluid from her head and replaced a bone that was removed during her first surgery.

In a previous vlog, Isabella shared her pain and discomfort after the craniotomy, admitting that it was more difficult than her first surgery. "I'm in so much pain...and this sucks. I was in so much pain earlier, I was like screaming," she said.

Isabella launched her YouTube series to document her cancer treatment journey, which includes six weeks of radiation treatment. In January, she and Michael appeared on "Good Morning America" to share the news of her diagnosis. Isabella began experiencing symptoms in October 2023 and underwent emergency surgery to remove a large medulloblastoma, a type of malignant tumor, from her cerebellum.

Despite the challenges, Isabella remains optimistic and is determined to face her treatment head-on. "I'm super glad I can still walk and talk and they didn't touch my brain because doing that again would be really really rough and I don't think I could do it... I could do it but it would be rough again," she said.

Duke University is ranked among the best in the country for brain cancer and brain tumor treatment, providing Isabella with the best possible care.
