AceShowbiz - NBC is promoting the fifth season of "Community" in "Mad Men" style. A new teaser revealed that the sitcom's new season will have not only comedy but also suspense, conflict and drama like the award-winning AMC series.
The "Community" teaser takes a jab at "Mad Men" promos that usually don't give anything to the audience. The characters utter short phrases such as "how?", "although", "well...", and "shame on you" that could lead to any speculations. Ken Jeong's Chang made the purpose clear in the beginning by saying "Here's all you need to know."
Returning on January 2, "Community" welcomes back creator Dan Harmon with the episode titled "Repilot". Speaking of the opening episode, star Jim Rash told The Wrap, "Fans know it. There's a depth again to the episodes that make you want to re-watch it, because it's hitting on levels that Dan goes to. On the surface it's all great, but if you dig deeper it's even better."
Jonathan Banks of "Breaking Bad" will do an 11-episode arc as the new Greendale Community College criminology professor. John Oliver is also back in his role as Professor Ian Duncan. Other guest stars slated to pop up throughout the season are Paget Brewster, Nathan Fillion, David Cross, Robert Patrick and more.
