Jason Brock is sent packing in the November 8 live show based on viewers' votes after the judges reach a deadlock when asked who should be voted off.

AceShowbiz - Following the surprise return of Diamond White which made the number of contestant to 13, "The X Factor" bounces back to 12 acts. On a Thursday, November 8 results show, the FOX singing competition eliminated one act.

Based on audience's votes, Arin Ray, Paige Thomas, Diamond White, Vino Alan, Jennel Garcia and Emblem3 were the top 6 acts. Carly Rose Sonenclar, Tate Stevens, Beatrice Miller, Lyric 145 and Fifth Harmony were later declared safe, meaning that Jason Brock and CeCe Frey had to sing for their lives.

Jason delivered an emotional rendition of "Total Eclipse of the Heart", while CeCe covered Cher's "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me". The judges deadlocked with Demi Lovato and Simon Cowell voting to send Jason home, while Britney Spears agreeing with L.A. Reid to send CeCe home.

As the judges were divided 2-2, it came down to America's votes to decide who would be eliminated and the bad news was delivered for Jason, meaning L.A. has lost one of his team members. "I want to say, I did it for the gays and Japan," Jason said. "But I'm really happy to have been here."

His mentor, L.A., said, "I'm still proud of him. Every time he sang, he sang from the heart. He is very entertaining and I really loved working with you."

Later after the show, Jason explained to reporters what he meant with his farewell statement. "And I get to tell everyone my two passions, gays and Japan. [Laughs] I think now people are wondering, 'What on earth is he talking about?' "

Asked what he might have done differently in Wednesday's performance show, Jason said, "Um, I don't think I would have done anything differently, because there was nothing in my control that I could have done differently. I think that all the choices I could make, I made the right choices."

"I felt like I sang every song as all me, from the heart as much as possible. There were some choices that L.A. made that I was not able to change. I kind of had to go with his advice because I trust him. So I can't change that."

However, if he could turn back the time, he wouldn't wear the red jacket that made Simon mock him. "I wouldn't have worn the red jacket, first of all. Those comments were terrible. I was ready to cry all day today because of what Simon said," he admitted. "[Simon's] basically making fun of me that I was fat, too. I just think Simon didn't like who I was. To him, he may not have seen a pop star."

Back to the results show, the audience was catered by One Direction's performances of "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things" from their new album "Take Me Home".
