Primetime Emmys 2012: Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Jon Cryer Among Early Winners

'Modern Family' already bags three kudos including the best supporting comedy actor and actress for Stonestreet and Bowen respectively, while the 'Two and a Half Men' star wins the best comedy actor.

"" was triumphant as soon as the 64th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards was kicked off Sunday, September 23. The ABC series claimed three of the first kudos presented that night with a win for , and Steven Levitan each.

Stonestreet nabbed the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for the second year in a row, beating out his own co-stars , and in addition to ("") and (""). The Cameron depicter gave a shout-out to his on-screen husband, Ferguson, in his speech, "There would be no Cam without Mitch."

Marking the second win for "Modern Family" that night, Levitan was called on stage to receive the Outstanding Directing in a Comedy prize. He thanked himself for choosing himself to direct.

Bowen took the stage next when she's announced as the winner for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy, repeating the same feat in 2011. "My job really amounts to me falling down and making faces while wearing lipstick and nipple covers," she said when accepting the gong.

"The fact that this could be translated into an award ... is a testament to the people that hired me. I'm so lucky to work with a cast and crew as talented as we have." Bowen defeated her co-star among other actresses in the category.

later snatched the coveted Outstanding Actor in a Comedy for his role on "". The Alan depicter quipped when delivering his acceptance speech, "Don't panic people, something has clearly gone terribly wrong."

and "" were other winners early at the prize-giving event. The former nabbed Outstanding Writing in a Comedy for his work on "", while the latter was named Outstanding Reality Show Competition. The Outstanding Host in a Reality or Reality-Competition Program, meanwhile, went to Tom Bergeron of "".

The 2012 Emmy Awards is still underway at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles aired live on ABC, with serving as the host.
