TV

In the 'Safety in Numbers' episode, Martin comes in contact with a homeless man who possesses the same obsession with numbers as Jake, and emotions run high for Clea.

AceShowbiz - Martin continues his pursuit in deciphering Jake's number when "Touch" returns next Thursday, March 29. A sneak peek for the upcoming episode teases that the numbers hold a message that will change the future as Martin tries to find the meaning behind a new set of number "3287" and to convince Clea that Jake is communicating with him.

This time around, Martin comes in contact with a homeless man who possesses the same obsession with numbers as Jake. He will also be seen setting out on a series of seemingly unrelated tasks that connect an abused African woman, a group of African boys entering a dance competition and an outgoing woman at California's famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Also in the "Safety in Numbers" episode, Teller pays a visit to Jake's board-and-care facility and emotions run high for Clea.

In a recent interview with HuffPost TV, series creator Tim Kring talked about the significance of the numbers to the series. "In the end, you'll see that these numbers, together, form a sequence that will shape where the story is headed," he explained at the series' special screening at New York's Museum of Natural History.

"There will also be different characters in each episode," he elaborated. "In essence, it has all the elements of an anthology show as well, where [the viewer] will meet new characters, get to know them and drop into their lives for these very small stories that connect up to the bigger story."
