AceShowbiz - Rihanna sparked controversy once again. Her "We Found Love" music video, which is dealing with dysfunctional relationship, was deemed too hot for France TV, and so was banned by Officials at the Supreme Audiovisual Council of the country.
Due to its "pronounced suggestive" contents, authorities prohibited the racy video from being aired before 10 P.M. They additionally voiced their concern that the clip, featuring Dudley O'Shaughnessy as Riri's love interest, could encourage "self-destructive behavior."
Earlier this year, the video was also slammed by an anti-rape organization for allegedly visualizing woman as "an object to be possessed by men." Before the protest arose, Director Melina Matsoukas, however, had already denied any claims that they glorified abusive relationship.
Before the controversial "We Found Love" music video, Riri is no stranger to facing censorship and criticisms over her provocative clips. Back in January this year, the racy visuals of her single "S&M" was banned in several countries for being overly sexual.
