Justin Bieber might have already taken a paternity test to prove he's not the father of Mariah Yeater's baby. When met at Pencils of Promise charity event in Los Angeles on Thursday, November 17, manager Scooter Braun told Maria Menounos of Extra that the "Never Say Never" singer has a DNA test scheduled for the next day on Friday.

Braun revealed the date when asked if Bieber is going to continue pursuing legal action against Yeater. "He's ready to take a paternity test, at any moment. We have one scheduled for tomorrow," he said. "We've never even seen the lawsuit, but we're going to just get ahead of this thing and go right after it. I think it's important to hold people accountable for their actions."

Bieber himself chimed in, "Just because she did it, we don't want it to seem like its okay for everyone to just say, like, 'I had Justin's baby or having his baby.' " His remark prompted Braun to joke, "Justin's actually having my baby. I'm pregnant. I'm showing soon." On a more serious note, Braun stated that Bieber "doesn't mind" taking the DNA test.

Earlier, it was reported that the paternity lawsuit filed by Yeater against Bieber has been withdrawn. Nonetheless, one of Yeater's new lawyers, Jeffrey M. Leving, said that they are still pursuing to get the "Baby" hitmaker to take a DNA test in private, saying, "We're negotiating with Bieber's counsel, to reach a confidentiality agreement and to get private testing and results."
