In celebration of Barack Obama's presidential inauguration, Ludacris will host a star-studded gig with David Banner, Big Boi, Bobby V, Lil Jon and T-Pain among others as musical guests.

AceShowbiz - While Jay-Z, T.I., Young Jeezy and LL Cool J prefer to celebrate Barack Obama's inauguration on the night before the presidential ceremony takes place, Ludacris chooses to celebrate the moment by attending an urban party to be held on the same day Obama takes the Oath of Office. He will be hosting the ball in Washington, D.C.

As part of the American Music Inaugural Balls, the event will be conducted at Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. The gig lines up live performances from David Banner, Big Boi, Bobby V, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Cedric the Entertainer, Fantasia Barrino and Monica.

Barack Obama's presidential inauguration itself will be held on January 20 beginning at 10 A.M. on the West Front of the Capitol. Opened by U.S. Marine band, the event will also feature performances from singer Aretha Franklin, violinist Itzhak Perlman, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, pianist Gabriela Montero and clarinetist Anthony McGill.

The ceremony also includes a poem reading by Elizabeth Alexander, a 2005 Pulitzer Prize finalist. Lasting for about two hours, it will be ended with a performance by the United States navy band performing the American national anthem.
