Jay-Z to Celebrate Barack Obama's Inauguration in 'Concert of Change'

In honor of Barack Obama's inauguration, Jay-Z will perform at the Warner Theater, while T.I., Young Jeezy and LL Cool J will be co-hosting a gala at the Harman Center for Art.

The night before Barack Obama's presidential ceremony takes place, a party known as "In Concert on the Eve of Change" will be held with a special live performance from . The show will be conducted at the Warner Theater with a live band accompanying Jay-Z's on-stage appearance.

In related news, Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN) will also be hosting a ball in celebration of Barack's inauguration. HSAN's executives; Russell Simmons, Dr. Benjamin Chavis and Valeisha Butterfield have recruited , and to co-host the event to be held at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, D.C. on the same day Jay-Z performing for "Concert of Change".

"The Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball will be a fantastic gala and upscale party in celebration of Barack Obama being inaugurated President of the United States," Simmons commented on the upcoming show. "We are also recognizing the outstanding contributions of T.I., LL Cool J, and Young Jeezy in helping turn out the largest young adult vote in history."

Previously, , and have been rumored to take part at one of the 10 official inaugural balls. The Jonas boys and Miley have been said to sing at a children's party on January 19 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C., while Jennifer was rumored to perform at the presidential ceremony. Jennifer's rep has stepped out busting the rumor but the Jonas boys and Miley's camps are still silent regarding the issue.

Barack Obama's presidential inauguration itself will be held on January 20 beginning at 10 A.M. on the West Front of the Capitol. Opened by U.S. Marine band, the event will also feature performances from singer , violinist Itzhak Perlman, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, pianist Gabriela Montero and clarinetist Anthony McGill.
