In the upcoming comedy film "Mindhorn," Julian Barratt stars as Richard Thorncroft, the titular character who is a washed-up actor forced to revisit his most famous role, the crime-fighting detective Mindhorn. Despite being a fictional character, Mindhorn's resemblance to Detective Thorne has given him a cult following, particularly among criminals. When a serial killer who claims to be Mindhorn's biggest fan emerges, Detective Thorne is called back to assist in the investigation.
