"Bad Santa 2" is a 2016 American Christmas comedy film directed by Mark Waters, written by Johnny Rosenthal and Shauna Cross, and starring Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Tony Cox, Christina Hendricks, Brett Kelly, and Ryan Hansen. The film is a sequel to the 2003 film "Bad Santa" and follows Santa Claus (Thornton) and his elf (Cox) as they try to rob a charity on Christmas Eve. The film was released in the United States on November 23, 2016, by Broad Green Pictures.
