In "Independence Day: Resurgence," the next installment of the epic science fiction franchise, Earth has been invaded once again by extraterrestrial forces. Two decades after the first invasion, the planet is now protected by an advanced defense system called Earth Space Defense, a global network of satellites and laser weapons. But when an even more powerful alien force arrives, it will take the combined efforts of humanity and the returning heroes from the first invasion to save the world. This clip, entitled "Fast Approach," gives us a glimpse of the aliens' new attack strategy, as they launch a barrage of spaceships towards Earth at an alarming speed.
