The Office Episode 5.05 Employee Transfer

It's Halloween at Dunder Mifflin and everybody is dressed up. Poor Pam is in New York dressed in her costume as Charlie Chaplin; only problem is she's the only one at Corporate who did dress up.

Because David Wallace discovered that Michael and Holly are dating, he transfers Holly back to her branch in Nashua, New Hampshire. Holly acknowledges that things have been a bit strange since it was announced that she's transferring. Michael wants her to stay in Scranton and she wants him to go to Nashua.

Dwight decides to irritate Andy the only way he knows how, by wearing a sweatshirt belonging to Andy's sacred alma mater, Cornell. Andy demands Dwight lose the shirt, but Dwight says he needs to show his support to a school he's applying for, making Andy even more furious.

Darryl doesn't trust Holly and Michael taking the company moving truck, so he agrees to accompany them to Nashua. As Michael sings "Life is a Highway" for the fourth time in a row, Holly begins to cry because reality is setting in that she and Michael can't make a long distance relationship work. Michael says he will not give up on Holly.

Jim drives to New York to meet Pam for dinner. Jim's two brothers, Tom and Pete, will join them. Pam is looking forward to the dinner until Jim's brothers begin to rib her for being an artist. The guys think Pam is in on their joke, but their taunting hits a little too close to home. Jim calls his brothers out on their rudeness.

Dwight continues to taunt Andy by decorating his desk in all things Cornell. Andy cannot wait to inform Dwight that he will be conducting his admissions interview to the University. Dwight refuses to back down and goes through with the interview so he can evaluate Andy on his interviewing skills.

Darryl moves Holly in and Michael tells Darryl he can leave the overnight bag in the car; he's driving back. Michael says his final goodbyes to Holly. On the way home, Darryl tells Michael it always helps to sing the blues and the two guys sing a duet on the way home.

Andy shows up to work sporting overalls and passing out beets. Dwight takes notice and Andy announces he's opening up his own beet farm. Dwight isn't scared of the competition.
