Miami Medical Episode 1.12 Down to the Bone

A giant sinkhole at a construction site injures several of the crew, but leaves one member, Joe, pinned under debris, unable to get out. While Zambrano and Proctor work on their patients in MT1, Dr C. heads to the construction site to amputate Joe's leg so he can be removed. Dr. C's trying to impress Proctor before his review, but he was specifically told not to go because he's at the end of a 36 hour shift. Just as Dr. C stabilizes Joe and starts to amputate his leg, the sinkhole shifts, trapping them both in the hole. The shift causes further injury to Joe, but Dr. C manages to save the day, despite his own injury. Also, Warren goes into surgery with Dr. Kaye, aka "Angry Ortho", to repair a patient's flail chest when Dr. Kaye collapses with a heart attack. Warren saves Dr. Kaye's life and learns he has nothing but his medical reputation. She decides to spend time with him because, even though he infuriates her, she's also learned a great deal from him.
