Synopsis

CITY SLICKER -- Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Curtis (Benjamin Bratt) struggle to unravel a chain of half-truths given to them by a victim who was taken to the hospital after being robbed, shot and wounded in the East Village - far from his suburban Connecticut home. As they try to draw the truth from their victim, they stumble on the cold-blooded murder of a young girl. Will Briscoe take the stand to help Assistant District Attorney McCoy (Sam Waterston) and Assistant District Attorney Carmichael convict the murderer or will police legalities interfere with the case?
