HARDBALL TACTICS CORRUPT YOUTH ATHLETICS -- When private investigator Mike Drucker is found shot to death in an upper Manhattan apartment, Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) look no further than the dead man's case files to find a variety of suspects with motive for murder. They focus their case on Drucker's investigation of a youth baseball league player (guest star Orlando Torres) who is accused by a competing league of being over the age limit. As Executive A.D.A McCoy (Sam Waterston) and A.D.A Southerlyn (Elisabeth Rohm) attempt to discern the boy's true age and identity, the team's coach (guest star Larry Joshua) and the boy's desperate father (guest star Omar Rodriguez) emerge as suspects.
