Law & Order Episode 10.06 Marathon

RESENTFUL BRISCOE AND GREEN FEUD OVER EXASPERATING MURDER CASE -- Detectives Briscoe (Jerry Orbach) and Green (Jesse L. Martin) are frustrated with their fruitless investigation of an elderly lady's public murder but tensions mount between the two partners when Briscoe flares at being second-guessed by fellow cops after he claims to hear a prime suspect confess. In addition, while the veteran detective bristles at veiled suggestions that he is too old to do the job, he and Green must put aside their differences to search for the small handgun that could make their case against the taunting suspect. Meanwhile, a silent Briscoe can't help but notice that his partner has picked up a dangerous habit on his own personal time.
