Duncan initially plans on having Sandrine killed after discovering the bombs she'd intended to kill them with, but he decides to keep her around after learning that Colonel Blair has taken Nina and Sawyer hostage. He exploits Sandrine's traitorous relationship with Blair to track down the safe house where his family is being held, but they are gone by the time he and the team arrive. Kramer researches the safe house and discovers that it belongs to Vanessa Moore. Duncan confronts her and she informs him that her relationship with Blair is now strained, meaning that Blair will need to be killed in order to guarantee the safety of his family. Ellen prepares for the President's surgery, holding a pre-op meeting with President Kincaid and his wife. Afterwards, Ellen convinces the First Lady to agree to smuggle the President's bone marrow out of the hospital after the operation. Brian and Morgan make their escape and head to meet up with Jake, but their plan hits a snag when Morgan notices a man following them on the road. Brian is convinced the man is going to kill them or harm Morgan, so he is forced to strike first, shooting and killing the man in a rest stop bathroom. They meet up with Jake at a secluded cabin in the woods, but are surprised to see Archer, who informs them that they won't be going anywhere until he gets payment for his services.
