Weaver develops a camaraderie with the Synergix representative, Dr. Ellis West. Gamma Carter tours the clinic with Hathaway and Jeanie, and grants extra funding. Dr. Carter discovers that his cousin, Chase, has a heroin problem. Doug and Carol reveal their romance to the ER.
