While Reid attempts to overcome the loss of Maeve, the rest of the team travels to San Francisco in order to investigate a series of bodies discovered in the Mission District. All of the victims were exsanguinated before death, their bodies almost completely drained of blood. Later victims also had their eyelids removed. With the help of Reid, the team learns that their UnSub is an artist who is hoping to produce a masterpiece using the blood of his victims.
