The players return from D.C. and meet Ali outside the ranch. Ali delivers the harsh news that there will be two eliminations this week. The person with the lowest percentage of weight loss this week will automatically be eliminated. After that, the two below the yellow line will be eliminated by votes, as usual.

The players being their pop challenge, involving jumping and reaching for tennis balls to collect. Whoever collects all 50 tennis balls from their assigned station wins a one-pound advantage at the weigh-in… something that all the players could use this week. Allen wins the challenge.

Bob and Jillian are shocked by the news of two eliminations this week. Jillian takes Bob aside and wants him to take into consideration that Shay needs to be on the ranch and it's up to them to try their hardest to keep her there. Bob has issues with deciding who should or should not stay on the ranch, but lets Jillian take control.

Jillian puts all her concentration into Shay's workout in the gym. As the rest of the players are taking breaks during their workouts, Jillian pushes Shay to her limits. She tells Shay that she will not accept any excuses this week.

Rebecca gets fed up with life on the ranch and confides in Amanda her frustrations. Rebecca reveals that she has been fighting with herself to continue her work on the ranch. Amanda assures Rebecca she's there for her every step of the way, to make sure they stay above the yellow line.

The players are surprised to meet Ali at a circus to hear about their latest challenge. Ali tells the players that making it as a circus performer involves talents such as balancing and jumping through hoops. The players see trampolines and colored hoops.

The players have to jump through their opponent's hoops for points. When a player hits 100 points, they are out of the game. The last player standing in the challenge will win immunity. The players realize the importance of this game and Rudy builds an alliance with Shay. Liz and Daniel quickly find themselves targets.

Shay realizes that Rudy has started to target her in the challenge. Rudy tells Shay to quit her attitude during the challenge and concentrate on keeping herself alive in the game. She tells Rudy that he has no idea what perseverance is as Danny and Rudy work together to take Shay out. In the end, Rudy wins the challenge.

Amanda and Rebecca are practicing secret workouts in Shay's room, and Daniel and Shay do the same. Shay believes this is the best idea that the four of them have ever come up with.

The next morning, Bob wants to know how the challenge went. Rudy fills him in on the details, with assurances that the tensions between him and Shay are gone. Shay's face tells another story. Liz notices the heavy tension between the two.

Bob takes the players to a swinging trapeze exercise class. The players practice running back and forth with their swings and then using their trapezes to pull themselves up. Bob thinks this exercise is perfect for what the players need. Bob quietly tells Shay she needs to focus on staying on the ranch.

The players return to the ranch, only to have Jillian awaiting them in the gym for their last-chance workout. Jillian is pushing all the players to their limits and reminding them that there will be two eliminations this week.

The weigh-in begins and the players are reminded that there are eight of them today on the ranch and tomorrow, there will be six. Shay steps on the scale and shocks herself and everybody else by losing 17 pounds, making her the female with the fastest plus-100-pound weight loss in the show's history.

Daniel is the last player to weigh in and everyone is shocked to see he lost only five pounds. This means he's fallen below the red line and has to say his tearful goodbyes. After everybody's weigh-in, it's Amanda and Shay who have fallen below the yellow line.

At the elimination, the players vote to eliminate Shay. Shay tells the players she's happy to have set a record on the show and she will not give up reaching her goal, even after she goes home.
