The Bachelor Episode 16.02 Episode 1602

Ben brings his 18 beautiful bachelorettes to Sonoma to give them a glimpse of what may be in store for one of them in the future.

At Home in Sonoma

Kacie B is thrilled to get the first date card. That means if she doesn't get a rose at the end of the evening, she's heading home. Ben wants to show Kacie what Sonoma is all about. They play some piano and visit a candy shop. Kacie grabs a baton from the shop to give Ben an impromptu lesson on how to twirl. The two of them end up having their own personal parade right in the middle of town.

Over an intimate dinner, Ben confesses that he loves Sonoma because of all the memories he had with his family, especially his dad. Hopeless romantic Kacie will go wherever she needs to go to do something. Could that something (or someone) be in Sonoma? It seems that way so far, as Ben gives Kacie the first rose of the night and a kiss. But wait! There's more!

Ben takes Kacie to an old time theater where she's treated to a private screening of a home movie starring her and her dad from her childhood. The second film includes highlights of Ben's time with his dad as a kid. It's a moving, emotional double feature. Ben feels that sharing such an intimate moment with Kacie really bonded them. It's the perfect date.

Play Time

For the group date, Brittany, Rachel, Jennifer, Blakeley, Emily, Jenna, Shawn, Monica, Samantha, Jamie, Nicki, and Jaclyn are among those chosen.

The ladies are tasked with doing a play written by a group of children. First they must audition for the kids. Then comes costume time. There's a princess, weasel, hippie, gingerbread man, dragon and more. They all live in the town of Bachelorville and there's lots of kissing. There's also a sheep that's stripped of his wool. That would be Ben, by the way. The play is a total crowd-pleaser.

There's a poolside cast party where Blakeley rubs a few of the ladies the wrong way. Samantha really doesn't care for this woman, but Ben seems to like her enough. He even shares a kiss with her. Told ya he liked her. In fact, he likes her so much that he gives her the group date rose.

In the Woods

Courtney scores a one-on-one date with Ben. She's not the most gracious person in the world when she receives the news. Some of her unexpected comments truly get to the other ladies. As for the date, Ben brings his dog Scotch along for the adventure to a land of redwoods. The way Ben acts with his cute pooch leads Courtney to believe he'll be a good dad someday.

Ben and Courtney take a late night tractor ride through a field where a table awaits for an intimate outdoor dinner. The conversation gets very personal. Ben reveals that his experience on The Bachelorette really allowed him to open up. Courtney opens up about her past dating history which has led to her having some trust issues. Maybe the fact that Ben gives her a rose and a kiss will help with that.

The Blakely Situation

Ben spends some time with a few of ladies with whom he hasn't spent any time with this time around. This includes First Impression lady Lindzi. Ben then steals Samantha for some one-on-one time. That gets interrupted when Blakeley crashes their private party. Her continuously aggressive moves really turn a lot of the ladies against her.

Later, Jenna has a little breakdown while the other ladies dish about their distaste for Blakeley. Ben can sense a shift in the mood of the house. He finds Blakeley cowering in the corner behind some luggage. Then he finds Jenna in tears under the covers. He had no idea things had gotten so bad so quickly.

The Rose Ceremony

It's time for the second rose ceremony. Kacie B, Blakeley and Courtney are safe. There are still 13 roses left. The ladies who are returning next week are:
