Blur Planning Small Reunion in 2011

Damon Albarn said he's going to reunite with his former bandmates although it won't be 'career-based world-domination ideas.'

AceShowbiz - Damon Albarn is resurrecting Blur next year - the bandmembers are planning to work together in January. The group returned to the music scene after a six-year hiatus to headline a series of U.K. festivals last year.

Albarn has since been concentrating on his other bands Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad & The Queen, featuring musicians Paul Simonon, Simon Tong and Tony Allen. But the Brit is adamant he will perform with Blur again - the singer is planning to work on "something small" with his former bandmates in the new year.

He tells BBC 6 Music, "Well, we met up yesterday and had a really nice chat. I think we'll probably do something, well we did talk about doing something, maybe, in January... (It will be) something small, no career-based world-domination ideas."
