The music mogul shares about his misery when he was still in boarding school, revealing that he used to send his parents bitter notes to make them guilty for getting rid of him.

AceShowbiz - Music mogul Simon Cowell was furious with his parents after they sent him to boarding school as a teen, writing angry letters to reprimand them for "getting rid" of their son. The talent spotter was just 14 when his parents, Eric and Julie, enrolled him at Dover College in Kent, England, where he studied and lived with his fellow pupils.
Cowell admits he hated every minute of his schooling, and even plotted to make his parents feel guilty by mailing them bitter notes. In a new British TV expose, Cowell handed over one of the letters, which read, "Dear Mum and Dad, I hope you're happy to have finally got rid of me."
"I also hope you're happy in your centrally heated warm house and you have a lot to eat, because I'm lying in a dormitory which has icicles on the inside, and there is nothing to eat. I'm freezing cold and hungry. I hope you're finally satisfied. Simon."
But Cowell laughs about the experience now, and insists he's "glad" he endured it, adding "I'm glad I went through it. I was bored ... I kind of knew I'd learnt everything I needed to learn, I could add up, I could read English, I could write, whatever."
"Every time I was sitting in chemistry lessons with stupid Bunsen burners and stuff, I thought, 'I'm not going to do that when I'm 30.' I'd get bored and I'd get frustrated and I couldn't wait to leave."
