Brooke Mueller Moved Into More Low-Key Rehabilitation Center

The Charlie Sheen's wife has been transferred to quieter rehabilitation center since she 'wants privacy and to be away from cameras that were bothering her at the other place.'

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller has transferred to a more low-key rehabilitation facility after a security breach prompted her to leave the Malibu, California center she checked into in early February. Mueller was admitted to The Canyon on February 9 to deal with personal issues after a similar stay at a North Carolina wellness clinic, where she spent a week recuperating after suffering from an infection and a bout of pneumonia.

But she has now left The Canyon in favor of a quieter location, after a staff member leaked a detailed patient admissions document to the press, reports TMZ.com. A source tells People.com the real estate agent transferred facilities on Sunday, February 21.

The insider says, "Brooke has recently moved to a new rehab facility in the Los Angeles area. She wants privacy and to be away from cameras that were bothering her at the other place. She is doing well and can come and go and play with the kids in the park if she stays in Los Angeles. She wants to keep it together for her twins. Brooke and Charlie are getting along OK, and he supports her stay in rehab."

Meanwhile, Sheen's representative Stan Rosenfield has played down a weekend meeting from social services, insisting the L.A.'s Department of Children and Family Services' visit to the actor's home on Sunday was "routine" and "procedural".

Officials with the Los Angeles County child services department have been keeping a close eye on Sheen and Mueller to ensure their twin boys Bob and Max, 11 months, are not at any risk following a bust-up between the couple on Christmas Day. Sheen was arrested and now faces charges of felony menacing, third degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief after allegedly threatening Mueller with a knife during the fight. He is due to be arraigned in court on March 15.
