AceShowbiz - Under My Skin, the indie horror thriller that won Best Horror Feature on the festival circuit, will arrive on streaming platforms on November 10, 2026. Directed by Jonas Larson in his directorial debut, the film navigates death, dark family secrets and emotional torment.
The film follows brothers Michael and Joel as they return to their childhood home with their wives following their father's death. In the secluded atmosphere, dark omens lurk in the shadows, triggering frightening behavior from Michael. The somber reunion quickly devolves into paranoia and unexplainable events, forcing Michael to confront the horrifying truth of his past trauma.
The cast includes Carter Siriani, known for Chat, Kristina Kessler, known for Come Back Home, and Alex Schultz, known for Love Unconditional.
Under My Skin was co-directed and written by Larson and Caleb Marks, and was the directorial debut for Larson. The feature was brought to life through Larson's own production company, JL Creative. Grounded in psychological horror and tension-driven storytelling, the film relies heavily on its distinct setting to build an inescapable atmosphere.
Filmed entirely on location in Lynchburg, Virginia, the narrative unfolds almost exclusively within a single home. This single-location setting serves as more than just a backdrop; it amplifies aspects of uncomfortable claustrophobia and emotional isolation as the story progresses.
Under My Skin will be available to rent or buy on November 10 on Prime Video, Apple TV, YouTube TV, Fandango and Google Play. It will also stream on Tubi starting November 18 and on Plex.tv.
