AceShowbiz - Brett Cooper has weighed in on the cheating scandal surrounding Ethan Klein, calling the H3 Podcast host the internet's "king of moral outrage" who has no leg to stand on after his wife exposed his alleged affair.
Hila Klein exposed the affair in an emotional Instagram post over the weekend. Ethan and Hila have been married for 20 years, share three children, and run a production company together.
On the latest episode of The Brett Cooper Show, Cooper did not hold back. "The internet's king of moral outrage doesn't have a leg to stand on once you pull back the curtain on his personal life," she said.
Cooper elaborated on Ethan's persona, saying, "Ethan has always been this king of moral outrage. He does reaction content, he clips people's content, and he makes insanely inflammatory and emotional comments in response to tragedies and viral stories."
She continued, "Up until now that was the stance that he never had to walk back and never had to apologize for. It seems like now he probably should, because obviously he has crossed that line himself."
The host also found irony in Ethan's Halloween costume. "It 'allegedly' makes sense why for Halloween Ethan decided to dress up as the Cat in the Hat. He had Hila and Tamara be his 'Thing One' and 'Thing Two.' I mean, you cannot make this stuff up!" Cooper said. She added, "If that was not intentional, it's just batshit crazy."
Cooper pointed out another layer: "During another point of this episode, when they were all dressed up, they literally talk about how Dr. Seuss had an affair on his wife when she had cancer. Allegedly, 'Thing One' and 'Thing Two' represented his side pieces."
She also joked about Ethan's weight loss, saying, "He's had a 10% glow-up, lost some weight, and suddenly found the audacity [to cheat]. Maybe him and Jelly Roll went to the same weight loss support group and got the same idea about leaving their wives."
Cooper admitted she was unfamiliar with Ethan before this. "Even though I didn't know a lot about Ethan Klein going into this and I never watched his podcast, I know even less about Hila and the crew. I didn't even know Ethan was married. It was a shock to me that man was married or that she was on his show as a co-host."
