AceShowbiz - Lulu Wilson is returning to the role that made her a genre favorite. The actress leads The Last Temptation of Becky, a new thriller from Jenn Wexler that Quiver Distribution will release exclusively in theaters on November 4, 2026.
The film continues the story of Becky, the character Wilson first played in the 2020 home-invasion thriller Becky and its 2023 follow-up The Wrath of Becky. This time, according to the official synopsis, Becky is now a CIA field agent who goes undercover in Poland to infiltrate a family running an inn at The Wolf's Lair, one of Hitler's WWII bunkers.
When she learns that the father, General Wilhelm Reuss, plans to spark the Fourth Reich, Becky must stop him. Neil Patrick Harris plays Reuss, the film's antagonist, marking a villainous turn for the actor. Wilson and Harris appear together in several of the film's released stills.
Wexler directs from a screenplay she wrote with Matt Angel. The story is credited to Angel and Suzanne Coote. Wexler previously directed the 2018 punk-horror feature The Ranger and the 2022 holiday slasher The Sacrifice Game.
The supporting cast includes Kate Siegel as Agent Kate Montana, Brandon Flynn, Catherine Walker, and James Urbaniak as Dr. Friedrich Metzger. Siegel is a frequent collaborator of Mike Flanagan, having appeared in the Netflix series The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass and The Fall of the House of Usher.
The film runs 89 minutes and is currently not yet rated. It is being described as a thriller with horror elements, continuing the genre-blending tone of the earlier Becky films.
An official trailer for the film has been released, offering a first look at Wilson's return as the character and Harris's transformation into General Reuss. The trailer shows Becky operating in an unfamiliar undercover role, a shift from the survival-driven premise of the previous installments.
Quiver Distribution is handling the release. The company has become a notable home for independent genre titles in recent years, and the Becky franchise has been one of the more durable action-horror properties to emerge from the indie space over the past several years.
The Wolf's Lair, referenced in the synopsis, was Adolf Hitler's primary military headquarters on the Eastern Front during World War II, located in what is now Poland. The film uses the site as the setting for its central conflict.
